In the last module we explored the concept of equity in education. We also discussed the significance of student-teacher relationships and how policies can be used to support equity.
In Module Three of Defining Us: Children at the Crossroads of Change, we focus on the
implementations of social and emotional theory in school settings through transformative social and emotional learning (TSEL). We further examine the affordances of student-teacher relationships and the self-work necessary to support students and develop equitable educational systems through critical love.
